The light at the end of the Polar Vortex?
Winter dug in fast and hard this year, and it seems like it's been here for-ever, well maybe it's just me. The super sub-zero temperatures have made me a little less of a "winter person" especially since this is my first year as a Dad (it's one thing to subject yourself to the cold...). Don't get me wrong, I've enjoyed my snowy adventures with my Norco Bigfoot, but, I miss the roads & trails. Being outside, you know, when the air doesn't hurt your face.
With only 5 weeks until Spring "technically" gets here, I say it's time to start getting psyched. The spring arrivals are starting to speed up at the Joe Mamma loading dock (aka the back door) and I think I can sense some cautious optimism from customers as they come in to shop. So let's all buy in to the "if you build it they will come" mentality. We've all got a friend who wears shorts a little to late in the season & a little too early, but maybe he's got it right? Maybe that's not a fashion faux-pas - it's squeezing every drop out of the season. So I say, get your bike tuned, dig those chamois out of the back of the waredrobe, check the batteries on your lights.... if we're all ready to hit the streets rolling, will it seem like we've squeezed a bit more out of spring?
