Get One, Give One - Helmets for kids.
This weekend is "Get one, Give One" Weekend at Joe Mamma Cycles! For every adult helmet purchased Joe Mamma Cycles will be donate a helmet to a child who needs one. Over the past few years, we have discovered that although Ottawa public health has the right intentions, it is not reaching the audience that it is intended for. By selling helmets at a discount it is not actually increasing awareness or reaching an audience that otherwise may not have purchased a helmet; rather it is reducing the profits of small business with little to no benefits to the community. Because of this, Joe Mamma Cycles will donate a helmet to children that otherwise may not be able to afford through various charities and community groups for every adult helmet purchased this weekend.
